MAËLISS LE BRICON
artist in exhibition Breaking this silence
Maëliss Le Bricon is an actress and patient-partner. She trained in "simulation" within the hospital environment, a practice she developed at the Pellegrin University Hospital in Bordeaux in collaboration with doctors, psychiatrists, nurses, nursing assistants, and childcare workers.
Taking time, listening, slowing down, and reinstating attention and empathy are at the heart of these interventions. In the face of illness, shock, or death, care is the first step toward resilience. The goal of these simulations is to empower patients to be "actors of their own lives."

The maternal burden
Le Bricon develops "Où atterrir? "project as an artist-mediator. She is conducting a citizen survey on "respect for the person among those with endometriosis", her pebble in her shoe: the maternal burden and the lack of therapeutic choice for people with endometriosis in France.
